Neighborhood
Just south of downtown in the historic South Park neighborhood, near the newly reopened John Chavis Memorial Park. This is a mixed-income neighborhood undergoing a lot of change, with brand-new homes being built right next to existing older ones. I've always felt safe here, but if you are sensitive to city noise or unaccustomed to urban living, this may not be the right place for you.
