Neighborhood

Just south of downtown in the historic South Park neighborhood, near the newly reopened John Chavis Memorial Park. This is a mixed-income neighborhood undergoing a lot of change, with brand-new homes being built right next to existing older ones. I've always felt safe here, but if you are sensitive to occasional noise or unaccustomed to city living, this may not be the right place for you.

Our neighborhood is within immediate proximity to Downtown Raleigh’s best. It's a diverse and tight-knit community, considered the most up-and-coming in Downtown Raleigh. It’s a mishmash of all kinds of people -- young professionals, families with kids and retirees. While it is a downtown, urban community, the neighborhood is certainly considered quiet and safe. Please scroll down to read more about to neighborhood, so you know if it's right for you. PLEASE NOTE: We take guest security and safety seriously. No fraudulent bookings. After booking, guests must e-sign an easy, online hotel-style rental agreement. We may request an ID selfie upload for first- time stays or if you have no traveler review history, and either a damage hold (refundable) or damage waiver (non-refundable). The driveway has room for four cars. There is also free street parking. It is a 25 minute drive from RDU airport Citrix Cycle, the city of Raleigh's bike share rental service, has a docking station just down the street at Chavis Park. Check out their website for availability and fees.
